What is Reconstructive Facelifting Massage
Reconstructive Facelifting (RFL) massage is an effective, non-invasive method of face and neck correction due to age related changes. Unlike other methods of facial massage, the RFL method addresses the root causes of aging rather than the symptoms. It recognizes that age-related issues are accompanied by structural changes and this is why we are not working on just the skin but going much deeper working on the connective tissue, bones, muscles, ligaments, fascia, and subcutaneous fat layer. It allows the face to expand and open up which opposes the natural collapse and contraction that happens overtime due to poor posture, lifestyle, tension, and aging.
The Reconstructive Facelifting Massage includes 4 parts:
- PART 1: Lymphatic Drainage
- PART 2: Neck, Shoulder, and Scalp Work
- PART 3: Deep Tissue Massage on The Face
- PART 4: Buccal Intra-Oral Massage
This method improves the overall health of the skin by relieving tension in the muscles of the face, head and neck, speeds up and stimulates blood circulation, lymphatic drainage and reduces fibrotic tissues/adhesions of fasica. It also ensures that the fat is evenly distributed over the face, thereby re-modelling and reconstructing faces of all ages. Working on these deeper levels allows to improve age-related issues like sagging jawlines, naso-labial folds, marionette lines, cheek area thinning, forehead wrinkles, double chin, under eyes puffiness, swelling of the face etc.
A series of 6-10 is needed for optimal results. We recommend coming in every 1-2 weeks for the initial series and then coming in for a maintenance treatments every 1-3 months. This treatment is a great pre-event treatment and post event and travel when you have undergone stress and needs some deep release.

FAQ
While clients can see positive changes after just one session it requires a series of 6-10 for optimal results to be achieved. We are working on the muscles, bones, tendons, fat distribution, and adhesions. This takes time to release, heal and awaken.
The RFL is a deep treatment. We are working beyond the skin in the deeper structures of the face so the results are long lasting but do require maintenance overtime as we naturally continue to age and face stresses of life. We recommend coming in every 1-3 months for maintenance after your initial series.
This treatment again works deep and encourages blood circulation throughout the body along with oxygenation, lymphatic flow, and the movement of qi. If you have the following condition it is not safe for you to have RFL:

It is normal to feel soreness in the face, neck, chest after a session. We are working in the muscles, bones, ligaments and fascia. So just like after a massage for your body you can experience soreness with this as well. Drink lots of water and be kind and gentle to yourself. As mentioned above tension and held emotional patterns can release during this treatment so it is a great time to really tune into how you are feeling and what is coming up for you on an emotional level. We suggest journaling during the time you are having your RFL series. It is a truly holistic treatment working on skin, mind, body and soul.
