FOREVER YOUNG BBL: THE NEXT STEP
Once you have completed your Corrective BBL Photo-Facial series targeting hyperpigmentation, sun damage, broken capillaries and redness you can move on to our Forever Young BBL Photo-Facial treatments. This treatment is for those who want to achieve and maintain youthful skin.
The Forever Young BBL Photo-Facial is not corrective focused, instead it works on slowing down the signs of aging by changing gene expression, promoting collagen and elastin, and awakening your natural glow. There are three scientific studies that have proven this to be the most effective treatment to non-invasively delay and actually reverse aging by an average of 10 years.
HOW IT WORKS
Step 1: The Base Pass
This step is called the base pass. We penetrate light energy into the skin using a specific filter and it is working deep in the skin to promote healthy skin, improve skin clarity, produce collagen, delay skin aging (proven in 10 year study at Stanford), and rejuvenate genes. This step makes skin brighter allowing light to reflect of your skin revealing your natural glow. This step is also included in the Corrective BBL Photo-Facial.
Step 2: The Wrinkle Lite
This step is called Wrinkle lite and utilizes light therapy to target specific fine lines and wrinkles such as crows feet, lines around the lips and neck lines.
Step 3: (optional add on)
This step utilizes Skin Tyte technology to firm and tighten the skin. A highly recommended addition to your Forever Young BBL Photo-Facial for those seeking firmer, more toned skin.
Forever Young BBL Study
(published in Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology)
They choose a series of clients who had been having Forever Young BBL Photo-Facials for 9 years and not done any other treatments. They had the before and after for all clients and had them cropped.
The photos were presented to a panel of 500 people including dermatologists, plastic surgeons, estheticians, nurses, and lay people. The photos were blinded so the panel did not know there were any before and afters and believed all photos to be of different people.
In the before picture the mean age was 44 and the panel accurately guessed the age of 45.
In the after photos (which panel was blinded too) which were taken 9 years later the panel also guessed the age of 45.
So the pre-determined age at end of 9 year study determined patients to be 10 years younger. Study participants did not do any other treatments - only BBL Photo-Facials.
Rejuvenation of Gene Expression Pattern of Aged Human Skin by BBL
(Stanford university - published in Journal of Investigative Dermatology 2013)
This study was very exciting and proved that BBL treatments can restore gene expression pattern of aged human skin to resemble young skin in over 2000 genes connected to rejuvenation and healthy aging. Plus more long term cumulative benefits overtime.
Once again they looked at the biopsies of both treated and untreated skin. The treated skin had only 3 treatments with the multiple pass BBL technique.
They compared to the skin of woman in there 70’s with those in there 20’s. A number of key genes in the 70 year old untreated skin biopsies were not being read like they are in young skin. These are connected to cell life, cell division, and suppression of tumours, and overall skin rejuvenation. BUT the biopsies of treated skin revealed that the genes had reverted back to younger genes and turned back on. Plus it turned OFF genes that are linked to accelerated aging.
The study revealed decreased elastosis, more information collagen deposition, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, improved skin clarity and tone, increased epidermal thickness and that BBL treatments restore gene expression of aged human skin to resemble younger skin. Older cells now behaving like younger cells once again. The power of Light is incredible! All this is achieved non-invasively.

It is important to discontinue the use of prescription vitamin A products and acids one week prior to your treatment and one week post treatment.
There is very minimal to no down time. The skin may be red post treatment which should subside within 24 hours.
In rare instances you may see mild swelling that should resolve in 1-2 days.

Clinical research from Stanford University has revealed that having a Forever Young BBL Photo-Facial 2+ times a year actually reverses the signs of aging and causes skin cells to behave younger.
